Stress: can it actually hurt you?

The latest movies have been pretty good, don’t you think? Or maybe you haven’t even seen one yet. Really, there is no excuse for not having seen the latest movies, since they were in theaters and available on sites like 123movies.

Can you understand all that you’re missing because you don’t just hop on the internet?

Maybe you don’t have the time, or maybe you have more important things to do, you say. However, it’s actually been studied that movies and letting ourselves relax have great health benefits for you.

When we are stressed out, our body goes into self-defense mode. Stress means that we are supposedly in danger – at least that’s how our brain takes it at least. And then, our brain sends signals to the rest of our body, putting it in defense mode. And when our body stays in defense mode too long, then it begins to slowly deteriorate. Our immune system weakens. And we get sick. Stress can cause you breakdowns – both mental and physical. And, it’s a real thing.

But, if we take the time to relax, to play, to escape a little, instead of being workaholics, or studying 24/7, we will actually be taking care of our health.

Seem too good to be true? It’s really not.

Take the time to check out a movie on 123movies. Go to the park. Play a game. If you have a significant other or a family, go out! Eat out. Play soccer. Go see the national park that is ten minutes from home but you’ve never actually visited.

Any time you invest in playing and recreational activities is actually an investment in your health. That’s not to say you should never work, but really, taking time to nap for 15 minutes, or watch a short episode of your favorite TV show really can be worth it.
